Ok, maybe they didn't use ALL CAPS. (That would really be yelling.) But... these notifications popping up on my phone are starting to annoy me. They are needy and demanding, not exactly the attributes of a great brand.
It got me thinking, who writes these alerts? My guess is, based on the exclamation marks, it isn't an experienced writer who understands the art of persuasion. Yet this is where I have the most interaction with the brand.
While I am sure some subservient people immediately obey the messages and rush to their Rhapsody app, it just sends the wrong message. My suggestion would be that they change these messages, now!!!
