The website builder category (SquareSpace, GoDaddy and Wix) spends multimillions each year in and around the Super Bowl to capture new customers at the most crucial time - Q1. WordPress needed to stand out in this critical time period to a brand new audience: small business owners with a fraction of the budget. We decided to act just like our small business audience and be big by acting small.
